Everywhere in Burundi

Since the 2025 territorial reform, Burundi has five provinces: Bujumbura, Gitega, Butanyerera, Buhumuza and Burunga. We work in every one of them.

Province Bujumbura

Bujumbura

Bujumbura Province brings together the economic capital, its surroundings and the west of the country (former provinces of Bujumbura Mairie, Bujumbura Rural, Bubanza and Cibitoke). It is home to most embassies, consulates, banks and international organisations – and therefore most legalization procedures.

Province Gitega

Gitega

In the heart of the country, Gitega Province surrounds the political capital and brings together the former provinces of Gitega, Karusi, Muramvya and Mwaro. Many institutions have moved there, making it a key place for administrative procedures.

Province Butanyerera

Ngozi

A northern province bordering Rwanda, Butanyerera has Ngozi as its capital and covers the former provinces of Ngozi, Kayanza and Kirundo. Universities, cross-border trade and the diaspora create strong demand for translated diplomas and civil-status records.

Province Buhumuza

Cankuzo

In the east, along the Tanzanian border, Buhumuza Province (capital Cankuzo) brings together the former provinces of Cankuzo, Muyinga and Ruyigi. We particularly support families and returnees with civil-status, nationality and family-reunification documents.

Province Burunga

Makamba

The country's largest province, Burunga stretches across the south from Lake Tanganyika to the Tanzanian border. With Makamba as its capital, it covers the former provinces of Bururi, Makamba and Rutana as well as Rumonge, its largest town.
